Ko wai mātou? (Who we are)

Kia ora, we are Ash and Parns.

We are māmā who are passionate about making our tamariki (children) and whanau (family) proud.

We aspire to produce kākahu that empower and uplift people with the unique designs we create using inspiration from our traditional Māori culture and their significant meanings.

We are proud to be a kaupapa Māori pakihi (business) who continuously strive to do well not only for ourselves but for our people.

Nōku - translates to mine, or belonging to me (ownership)

Nōku was the name that was gifted to us by two kaumatua here in Ngati Kahungunu, Tiwana Aranui and Hawira Hape

For us it is about taking ownership of our business, something we are deeply passionate about and, showcasing our culture in a positive light. Each tohu (design) has its own significance to one’s journey in life.

This name was fitting for us as māmā who were ready to evolve our dreams of having our own pakihi.
